Trichology.com is committed to making the directory usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML throughout the site, with skip-to-content support via consistent heading structure.
- Color and contrast tested against WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds.
- Keyboard navigation for all primary flows (search, profile browse, consultation request).
- Alt text on listing photos; descriptive link text instead of "click here".
- Form labels and error messages associated with inputs for screen readers.
- Responsive layout that works without horizontal scroll down to 320px wide.
Known limitations
Some user-submitted content (review text, practice photos) may not always include ideal alt text or descriptions. We review reports and correct issues as they come in.

If you encounter a barrier on the site, please tell us. Include the page URL, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
